Taurus Full Moon November 15
Friday’s full moon occurs at 24 degrees of Taurus, one degree away from Uranus. This is right next to where Jupiter and Uranus conjoined in late April of this year, and attention may be drawn back to topics from that time. The moon is ruled by Venus in Capricorn, where she requires that value and principle is put to decisive action. Venus is overseen by Saturn in Pisces, who has stationed direct and is beginning his final pass over 12-14 degrees of Pisces before moving on for good around New Years of 2025. Saturn, representing time, karma, responsibility, structure, what is earned, has given us plenty of time to marinate on his significations in these degrees. Saturn has sat at 13 or 14 degrees of Pisces during every eclipse this year (if you are wondering what this could represent for you, think about the Piscean area of your chart during March, April, September and October). It is now time to step into the role that Saturn is asking you to fulfill, or risk the opportunity to answer this call slipping away.
There is an energy of finality around this full moon because many planets are, like Saturn, revisiting the places where they lived for most of 2024 for a last time; Pluto is spending it’s very final days in Capricorn for all of our lifetimes, and receiving a trine from the moon; the nodes are finishing their transit of the Libra-Aries axis. Jupiter is once again at 19 degrees of Gemini, a degree that was often activated this summer, and Uranus is back near the degree where he conjoined Jupiter and Algol earlier this year, before moving on to the last degrees of Taurus; these two planets will pass over these degrees once more in spring of 2025. Many stories are pushing towards their resolution; full moons are always mini climaxes. This full moon is a time for last stands and last words as the year ends and a new astrological landscape commences; these may be poignantly transitional times in our personal lives as well. Every lunation for the rest of 2024 will punctuate these stories, but this Friday’s feels the most dramatic.
Whatever stories are culminating in your life, progress is supported. Mars in Leo trines the North Node while Chiron sextiles Jupiter. Mars in Leo and Chiron in Aries demand that we remember ourselves and act on our own behalf. Take time to process and embody emotions, as Jupiter in Gemini can over-intellectualize. Exalted Mars ruling the Scorpion sun, quietly gives the opportunity to find our inner light and step into what we love, what makes us feel like ourselves. If there is something that you know you need to do, use the Mars-nodal relationship and Capricorn Venus energy to get it done decisively, now. Do watch your words, as Jupiter falls in Gemini while Mercury falls and prepares to retrograde in Sagittarius. This gives potential for misunderstanding, bad guesses, but also potential for personal epiphanies.
