Hello! Happy Lunar New Year, and Happy Imbolc. The Pagan holiday that marks the halfway point of winter brought welcome reassurance that winter is ending soon. And time is passing by quickly. In Madrid, the winter is what some would call mild and others would call frigid. But undeniably, the light is growing, and new horizons are beginning to take shape as we hurdle towards spring.
Jupiter has gone direct, giving some forward momentum. Venus has entered Aries, bringing some welcome fire energy into the current forecast, despite approaching her own retrograde period. Mars and Uranus are still retrograde, grinding slowly and painfully to their stations. Have you felt the conflicting impulses of stop and go, and building pressure, coming from this current moment? It is reflected in the astrology.
The moment, to me, feels like an incubation period. As if there is pressure building in an egg that is about to crack. Something is not quite ready to be born yet. But, we should now know more clearly than at the beginning of the year, what we are creating and bringing into our worlds.
There is a Leo Full Moon coming up on February 12th, with the Sun right near Mercury and the Sun and Moon square Uranus. Possibly, some bright and radical ideas will come around the full moon. Maybe some shifts in self concept, or reality checks about what we identify with.

I imagine them as a way to connect, experience the astrological moment together, and direct our energy towards something positive.
